Buki is a contemporary Sri Lankan artist whose abstract practice explores memory, place, and emotional experience through colour and material. Working primarily in oil and mixed media, she creates richly layered paintings that balance intuitive mark-making with a refined sense of composition.

Inspired by tropical landscapes, travel, and quiet observation, her work explores how colour can carry memory and emotion beyond . Rather than depicting specific places, Buki creates atmospheric abstract landscapes that invite contemplation and encourage viewers to form their own personal connections.

Her work has been exhibited internationally in London, Paris, Madrid, New York, Switzerland, Austria, and Sri Lanka. She has presented two solo exhibitions and participated in numerous international group exhibitions and art fairs. Her paintings are held in private collections around the world, and she continues to collaborate with collectors, interior designers, architects, and galleries on both residential and commercial projects.
